Yield: 4-6 servings (1 rollup per serving)
Ingredients:
- 8 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 teaspoon rosemary (optional)
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
Instructions:
- Begin by boiling the lasagna noodles according to the directions on the package. Once cooked, drain them and rinse with cold water, then set aside.
- In the same pot, brown the ground beef. Once it’s fully cooked, stir in the garlic powder and onion powder. Add the ricotta cheese, and if you choose, the rosemary, along with the marinara sauce and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Spread a layer of the beef mixture at the bottom of a baking dish. Lay the cooled lasagna noodles flat on a cutting board or piece of parchment paper. Spoon some of the beef mixture onto each noodle and roll them up tightly. Position the roll-ups seam-side down in the baking dish. Top them with the remaining beef mixture and sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
