Egg Tot Recipe

Yields: 12 servings

Ingredients:

36 thawed tater tots

10 large eggs

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream or half-and-half

1/2 cup shredded cheese

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons onion powder

1 package (2.5 ounces) real bacon bits

Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Grease a muffin tin with butter. Place three tater tots into each muffin cup and press them down.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and bacon bits. Season this mixture with salt and pepper as desired. Pour the mixture evenly into each muffin cup.

To catch any spills, place a baking sheet underneath the muffin tin and bake for 20-25 minutes.

NOTE: These can be prepared ahead of time, allowing you to simply heat them in the microwave for a convenient meal on the go.
